                          WINNERS OF 2007 ST. LOUIS FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE

The winners of the St. Louis Gateway Film Critics Association awards for the AT&T St. Louis
Filmmakers Showcase 2007 were announced on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the festival’s
Closing Night Party at Blueberry Hill.

The SLFS awards area presented annually by the St. Louis Gateway Film Critics Association, a
professional association of area film critics. SLFS is presented yearly by Cinema St. Louis.

The winners for the sixteen awards are:

Best In Fest: LONELIEST PLACE ON EARTH
Best Feature Film: GHOST IMAGE
Best Drama Short: LONELIEST PLACE ON EARTH
Best Comedy Short: BODEGA
Best Music Video: LOVE FOR WANT OF A LESSER WORD
Best Documentary Feature (40 minutes or longer): SANPACHANDO (SAN PANCHO IS FOR
REVELERS)
Best Documentary Half-Hour Length (20-40 minutes): THE BLACK REP: 25 YEARS AND THE
BEST IS YET TO COME
Best Documentary Short (20 minutes or less): 500 BILLION PLASTIC BAGS
Best Experimental or Innovative Film: RUZZIAN ROULETTE
Best Short By A Former St. Louisan: I LOVE YOU. I’M SORRY, AND I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN
Best Director: Jack Snyder for GHOST IMAGE
Best Cinematography: Chris Benson for GHOST IMAGE
Best Script: FRANZ KAFKA: THE HAPPIEST MAN IN HAPPY TOWN
